Wei-Ling's First Weekend in Kampar

Day 1

Wei-Ling finally came to visit me last weekend! after my waiting her coming for ages :) Goddamn happy when saw her arrived safely at Kampar KTM Station.

After resting a whole evening, brought her to Pasar there to have some local delicacies at night.

1. The Famous Chee Cheong Fan. Damn nice wayyyyy :) I'm so addicted to it since the first time Karen recommended it to me.

2. Yam Cake a.k.a Wu Tao Gou. The yam is very soft. I don't like yam, but out of my expectation, I started to love it.

3. Ginkgo-Barley.

Then, we headed back to my rented house. Wei-Ling needed to stay in front of the lappie because she had to register her next semester timetable. While me, I was reading my notes :( Thank to the mid-term which was held on Monday afternoon.

Day 2

Wei-Ling was settled with her taylor's thingy early in the moring, she woke up at 7.30am! Oh shit, I was sleeping like a pig until 11 like that.

After putting our make-ups on and all sort of that, we went to Jusco Ipoh. Okayy, I admitted that I was DUMB, as I only know the way to go Jusco. I'm a directionless person!


Wei-Ling was so excited with the greenery scene that we passed by when on the way to Ipoh. She felt great with the mountains and the tree around :) but I felt nothing special.

Well well well, finally reached at Ipoh. We went to Black Canyon for brunch. The food was tasted so nice, and we both like its Tom Yam as well :)

Add-On
The soup made me think of Kelantan, a lovely place for Thai-food lovers. Goddamn miss of those delicacies, especially Bin Bin's Tom Yam Kuey Teow (the boss is a Thai person, only could speak Siamese and also Hokkien).

Wei-Ling said she wanted to turn to be lady that day. Then we walked around and searched for some girl stuffs, like cosmetics, clothes... etc.

Of course, we won't forget to have our favourite- Baskin Robbins for our high-tea :)

I wanted to have 'very berry strawberry', but they did not have it there. So, I forced to take Strawberry Sorbet :( Sad case, as in I'm so bersemangat to have other flavor, instead of green-tea!

Our shopping trip ended after entering K-Box for two hours. The set meal was tasted so-so only. I mean, nothing special with it, just like ordinary western chops.

Wei-Ling bought a lot that day - Garnier toner, Maybelline make-up remover, SkinFood eyeliner and Face-up-Roller :)

Day 3

Wei-Ling was pretended to be a UTAR student and accompanied me to Advertising and Promotion class early morning at 8am. Hell, the lecturer was so bored and we both almost fell asleep in the class.

Well, after went for breakfast in cafeteria, brought her to local shop that selling those local biscuits. She also bought the famous Kaya Puff back. Hope she will like it :)

p/s: I am SORRY that I could not bring her to have the hot and fresh Bread-Chicken and also Claypot Chicken Rice. But I believe that you will still have chance to come over right? :)
